Behind every dog lover lies the memory of a lost friend.

• For many years, I have had the chance of owning a marvelous blond pekingese. When I chose her, I was anything but aware of the influence she would have on me.

• You probably know as much as I do that Pekingese dogs are magnificient dogs. But more often than not, because of their rarity, people tend to have misconceptions about them.

• They have great qualities, prove to be loyal and affectionate, but are not compatible with all types of environments…

Through founding my organisation, I aimed at making them more available, hopefully reinforcing repect for both sides: adopters and adoptees.

WE BELEIVE

• …that a dog can change the life of a person.

We want to give a chance to those who couldn’t afford a Peke to adopt one instead of opting for another dog race.

• …that eventhough a Pekingese dog’s professionnal carreer is waning, it should have a chance to retire and live through its old days.

We work for that purpose.

• …that race visibility is a form of publicity for Pekingese breeders.

OUR MISSION

• Harbour Pekingese dogs originating from kennel or individuals in a family-type context. Tend to their needs, evaluate them and relocate in families deemed responsible, respectful of their character, temper and specific needs, while taking into account the adopters’ real needs, not their sole desires.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

In a little girl’s dream, I wanted to be a veterinarian. But as many dreams do, it remains to this day unflfiled.

On the other hand, I have had the great chance of growing up in a family whose numerous animals deserved and received the utmost respect and care.

Later, still interested in animals, I followed professionnal dog-breeder certification courses (cyno-professionnel), as well as obedience courses.

I also accompanied my parents with their beautiful professionnal dog kennel and competition project along the years.

This baggage makes me believe I can offer the dogs transiting through my home, as well as the people giving me their trust, services of a quality level they are entitled to expect.
